
Ms. Heather Hogg
Assistant Director of Costume
Modlin Center for the Arts Heather Hogg, has been a designer and artist in the Richmond area for 18 years. Most recently, she designed for University of Richmond’s Theatre and Dance Dept. 2008 concert (Leap) and was the resident designer for Hanover Tavern’s 2007 season, designing Smoke On the Mountain, The Odd Couple, Deathtrap, and Swingtime Canteen. Through a grant from Partners in the Arts she designed and implemented an original production called James River Anthology, in which masks were co-created with characters from the imagination of the minds of the students of Seven Hills School. She was also commissioned by Collegiate School to write Amelia’s War, a play based on the novel by Ann Rinaldi. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Costume Design in 1991 and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theater Pedagogy in May of 2006 both from Virginia Commonwealth University. Heather is Assistant Director of Costume at the University of Richmond’s Department of Theater and Dance.
